(Dutch version of in the elevator) Opeens vielen de lichten uit, alles werd donker, zelfs de kleine rode lichtjes vielen uit. De lift viel naar beneden. Ik greep snel naar wat houvast anders was ik misschien gevallen. Mijn telefoon gleed uit mijn hand en hij viel met een harde klap op de grond van de lift. Ik hoopte echt dat hij niet gebroken was, want ik denk niet dat ik op dat moment genoeg geld had om een nieuwe te kopen. Mijn handtas gleed ook van mijn schouder af en bleef aan mijn bovenarm hangen, maar ik trapte per ongeluk op de lange band, waardoor de haak los ging en- recht in mijn arm sneed. In the elevator: with myself

I thought it was hanging from a string that might break at any moment and I would fall to my death. A small white light came on, illuminating the elevator a little. I saw the door a little dully and ran to it. I started banging on it and called out for help:  'hello...is anyone here? Help! I'm stuck! Does anyone hear me?'  After calling for half an hour to two hours and having no response, I gave up. My voice had almost left me and my blouse was wet with sweat and tears. I don't like the dark. I slumped down quietly on the floor of the elevator sobbing with my arms and legs raised like a stiff flower sack.  There I sat twenty-two year old me alone in the dark. Seth was a kind-hearted man who was very helpful and caring and always helped people who needed help. He was highly respected for his generosity and kindness, many people came to him for advice and great life decisions. Despite his popularity, Seth was a lonely man living alone in his small house.
