Expecto Patronum
As Harry asked his godfather,
"Does it hurt to die?" he shed a tear.
Sirius smiled with peaceful eyes,
"Not at all," he said, without any sighs.
His eyes filled with laughter.
_
"Then why are people afraid to die?"
He asked, adjusting his glasses.
"People fear death 'cause they must leave
Their loved ones behind, and that's what grieves.
His godfather said, with a smile that passed.
"It's leaving loved ones with words unsaid,
That makes dying seem like a bad dream.
_
But dying like falling asleep,
Floating away in a stream so deep.
It's the best part of life, my dear,
Where you chase your dreams without any fear.
___
"Why did you have to die?"
Harry cried, his eyes full of tears.
"Everyone has to die one day,"
His godfather said, calming his fears.
"Accept it with a smile, don't dread it.
__
"What if I forget you?"
He wept, sobbing with pain.
"“It's okay to forget and move on,
Embrace life's beauty with a new dawn.,"
His godfather said, wise and humane.
_
He asked, "I don’t want to go on without you"
“The ones that love us never really leave us,"
His godfather said, with a gentle mind.
"You can always find them in here"
He said while pointing to his godson’s heart.
"I'm always with you , if you believe.
__
Remember, death is not the end,
It's just the beginning, Harry.
So live with love, and don't be afraid,
Of death or loss, for memories never fade."
_
Embrace the beauty of life,
And cherish those who are gone,"
His godfather said, with a smile so bright.
"Let your heart be your love's true song."
